Kia Might Bring Forte Production Stateside

There are plenty of things to love when it comes to the Kia Forte, which you can find here at Kia of Cleveland, serving drivers in the greater Chattanooga area. The sedan offers plenty of technology features and an efficient and entertaining drive. Now, there's potentially a new thing to love, as the vehicle could be slated for production in the United States.

Kia has been producing some of the new Kia lineup at its facility in West Point, Georgia, mainly the Kia Optima and Kia Sorento. These two models have proven to be quite popular for those in search of a mid-size sedan and crossover, but filling the demand by adding a compact sedan to its production facility is something Kia is considering.

The Kia Forte could make its way to the West Point facility, or elsewhere in the United States to supply dealerships like Kia of Cleveland with many of these small but sporty sedans. The decision could be driven by the fact that the Korea's currency, the Won is increasing in value. That means it is a higher price to export vehicles, and it would save money, and create growth here in the United States if Kia brought Forte production stateside. All told, it's pretty exciting stuff.

Of course, we don't know when or where it will happen, but we do know that we have a full lineup of Kia models here at Kia of Cleveland for you to take a closer look at. If you're interested in learning more stop in to 2492 South Lee Hwy Cleveland, TN 37311 and we'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have, and set up a test drive in the Forte, or any other new Kia model that interests you.
