Developments on the Horizon: What's in Store for Kia Fans in the Future?

It's no secret that Kia has been busy lately. Significant updates have been made to the Forte and the Optima recently. The Kia Soul is getting electrified and the brand has also broken into the luxury segment with the all-new Cadenza.

After all of this effort, you might expect the automaker to sit back and relax for a bit, but that's clearly not in the cards for Kia. As a matter of fact, they've got a few more tricks up their sleeve.

Following the swift success of the Cadenza, Kia is looking to introduce a new flagship luxury model known as the Quoris in the US. The performance vehicle will operate on a rear wheel drive platform and will sport an even more upscale feel. No official launch date has been announced yet, but we could see this sedan hit our shores as early as next summer.

Branching out even further, Kia's GT Concept could be entering production soon. This would obviously be a big move as the manufacturer has yet to introduce a sports model into the new Kia lineup.

Although we aren't expecting to see it hit our Cleveland, TN dealership, our preferred automotive brand also has an exciting European B-Segment slated to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Kia heads say that they don't plan on putting the vehicle into full-scale production, but future releases could take a few cues from this subcompact.
