The Kia Soul Has Two Exciting Updates in Store for Cleveland Drivers

Fuel efficiency is a concern for most drivers here in Cleveland, TN and around the country of that matter. Achieving 30 mpg on the highway and a combined EPA estimated 27 miles per gallon, the Kia Soul certainly boasts some pretty impressive figures. But our favorite automaker isn't content to leave it at that.

It appears as though Kia has an all-electric edition of the Soul in the works and a few recent spy shots confirm that the prototype is currently undergoing testing. There are differences in appearance to the current gas offering, but heavy camouflaging obscures our view of exactly what they are. Either way, seeing the electric urban crossover out on the road can only mean one thing: it's coming soon!

On the other side of the coin, there have also been rumors swirling that the Soul will see an all-wheel drive edition sometime in the next couple of years. Apparently, Kia bosses really want to distinguish the crossover from its competition. Though currently, there just a few models out there that rival the Soul, many auto experts believe that that snug little segment is about to burst wide open. Therefore, when it happens Kia will be ready to stand above the rest, satisfying the needs of a range of drivers.

The AWD option is currently just a concept and seems to be a bit further off than the pending EV. However, we'll be sure to keep you up on all the latest right here on our Kia of Cleveland blog.

Of course, if you're one of those impatient types, we can't fault you one bit. In fact, stop by our dealership and we can even help you out by showing you our full lineup of fuel efficient and capable new Kia models today.
