Kia to Bring Back Redesigned Sedona Minivan to the 2014 Lineup

Every once in a while when Kia takes time off from producing a particular model, it is able to gain some new perspective on how a redesign would make it more stylish than ever. This is exactly what the automaker did with the Kia Sedona, which will be returning for the 2014 model year after taking a one year hiatus. We are quite excited to uncover what to expect when the minivan goes on sale at dealerships like Kia of Cleveland in the next few months.

For starters, the new Sedona will be sporting a redesigned grille and other premium accents. Another major addition is its enhanced crash-safety protection that will efficiently meet strict global standards. Although the exterior adjustments are subtle, there are still a lot of great interior highlights being added to the two trim levels: the Base Sedona LX and Sedona EX.

Under the hood, it features a 3.5 liter V-6 that cranks out 269 horsepower. With its six-speed automatic transmission it is able to send power to the front wheels. According to Kia, its powertrain is estimated to achieve about 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

Drivers can also enjoy a lengthy list of standard features that include SiriusXM radio, Bluetooth, audio controls mounted on the steering wheel and a backup warning sensor. For a boost in luxury with the EX trim level, additional features include a power sunroof, leather seats, an upgraded audio system and a navigation system.
